FAQ

Is this the official MBTI® test?

No. Watake uses its own statements, adapted from the public-domain IPIP item pool, and its own scoring. The four letters follow the same idea, but the result is not an MBTI® result.

How accurate is it?

Each letter comes with a clarity label. A Balanced letter means either side could fit, and we show the other type too. The test is checked against anonymous answers and updated in new versions. See how it is scored.

Why do I need the app?

Tests run in the Android app, so your answers and results stay in your Google account and you can come back to them. The website explains the tests but does not run them.

What is free?

Taking the test, your four-letter type, the four scale bars and a one-line summary are free. The full report is a one-time purchase per test inside the app, through Google Play.

Is there an iPhone version?

Not yet. An iPhone version is planned after the Android app.

Can I retake a test?

Yes. Without the full report, your latest result replaces the earlier one. With the full report, every result for that test is kept.

What do you store about me?

Your Google account name and email, your answers and results, and an anonymous copy of your answers with no link to your account. Read the privacy policy.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, open Account, then Delete account. You can also ask us by email. See the steps.
